If you are doing the hike in the spring, be ready for some buggy sections. Quebec is blessed with mosquitoes and black flies. I recommend wearing long sleeves and pants, bring a bug net and bug protection for the night.
There is a long section of 250km between resupply. To complete it, you will have to carry a good amount of food and walk a decent distance every day to make it happen. On the hard side, that section is the wildest and the hardest (trail wise and elevation wise). There are a couple of other options possible for this section:
I have heard the visitor centre in Parc de la Gaspésie accepts food boxes from thru-hikers. You would have to contact them to know more. That would divide the section approximately as 190km and 60km.
