At first sight, these buds seem to be separated. If we take a closer look, we can see that they are connected to one another. This interconnection does not leave any of them isolated. The realization and acceptance of this divine nature which binds them together, lets them blossom into a powerful unity. What a beautiful lesson for those of us who live in an individualized society; it requires humility to admit that we are the creators of this perception of separation.

This crocus grows on a rock. This flower does not wonder if it is possible to grow on a rock. It simply grows. The pessimistic perception we have of thinking that it is impossible becomes an important obstacle to "living fully". Life has always been simple. Our complex perceptions contaminate its simplicity.

Mother Earth is generous and indulgent… We bleed her (extraction of oil), peel her skin (cut trees), we lacerate her (mining), pull out her cells (ore), and poison her health (pollution). Despite all the ill-treatment we inflict, she does not use her power against us. She forgives us with so much love. She is Mother “Hearth”.
