Wisdom of Nature

“Look deep into nature and you will understand everything better.” - Albert Einstein

Picture
Sometimes it’s the small things that keep everything balanced.

Picture
Even through the darkest time, light always finds its way in.

Picture
When you feel lonely, remember that your roots share the same ground as everyone else. You are never alone.

Picture
When we have trouble seeing the beauty of things, let us remember not to look too far ahead or behind us. The flowers rarely grow on the trail, but it surrounds us!

Picture
The colder the water, the easier it is to see the bottom, but for that, we must first break the ice. Our difficulties are not so different, the harder they are, the easier it will be to see the end. For this, we must first face them.

Letting go (Waterfall)
Water is the perfect example of letting go. Regardless of the obstacles on its way, it overcomes them. In spite of its softness and liquid form, it carves the most robust substance: the rock. No matter how long it takes, water always makes it to its goal, the ocean.

Perseverance (Tree)
What a beautiful example of perseverance! The tree continues to grow even after being cut down. We should remember this exemplary lesson when our turn comes to fall down.

Interconnection (Spring Buds)
At first sight, these buds seem to be separated. If we take a closer look, we can see that they are connected to one another. This interconnection does not leave any of them isolated. The realization and acceptance of this divine nature which binds them together, lets them blossom into a powerful unity. What a beautiful lesson for those of us who live in an individualized society; it requires humility to admit that we are the creators of this perception of separation.

Living Fully (Flower on Rock)
This crocus grows on a rock. This flower does not wonder if it is possible to grow on a rock. It simply grows. The pessimistic perception we have of thinking that it is impossible becomes an important obstacle to "living fully". Life has always been simple. Our complex perceptions contaminate its simplicity.

Tranquility (Boat with Sunset)
Dear tranquility, when we let ourselves be enveloped by your energy, you become a soft lullaby, singing, and humming in synchronicity with the ocean waves. All our desires and fears disappear. There, in your arms, we are at home.

Freedom (Lotus)
For many religions, the lotus is a meaningful flower. It grows in a dark and dirty environment. However, it remains immaculate, free from all influence of its environment.

Mystery of life (Machu Pichu)
The mystery of life is all around us,
but its root lies within us.

Light is always there (Sunset)
Like the setting sun that gives way to the night, we sometimes feel the inner darkness. Blackness does not make light non-existent. It only means that we have lost sight of it. In reality, the sun never disappears.

Mother Earth (Mountains)
Mother Earth is generous and indulgent… We bleed her (extraction of oil), peel her skin (cut trees), we lacerate her (mining), pull out her cells (ore), and poison her health (pollution). Despite all the ill-treatment we inflict, she does not use her power against us. She forgives us with so much love. She is Mother “Hearth”.

We Are our Home (A Port with a Boat)
If the harbour is our home, when we are at sea, we might feel homesick. Storms or dangers appear to us as obstacles. When we realize that “we are our home” then we will always be “at home” everywhere we go.

Grow (Little Rock Island)
Like the tree on the rock, accepting there is no other direction to go, the tree grows upwards. When we feel that no way out is possible, let us remember that there is always another direction: the one pointing upwards.

Relationship (Dragonfly)
As in this picture, any relationship cannot exist by simply relying on the other. If that were the case, we would be in a free fall. We need inner support for a relationship to truly be alive. Self-love is this unwavering support.

Dear Silence (Sunset with Water Reflexion)
Dear Silence, when we are in your presence, your reflection pushes us towards one's self. Thank you for being the reminder that we are the key to our inner beauty and freedom.
