Travel Info

When to go

You can go to Mexico year-round, but it usually depends on where you are heading. In general, the rainy season is from May to October. The dry season from November to April.

Cost

I travelled for about 20-25$/day (2008). For today's prediction visit this website.

How long do I need

It always depends on your travel speed, but 1-2 weeks for a specific region and at least 3-4 weeks for the entire country.

Personal Highlights

I have only visited the south of Mexico, so my personal highlights are only base on my experiences.
  • Palenque: Discover the Maya civilization.
  • Tulum: You can see ruins while swimming in the ocean.
  • Chichén Itzà
  • Mérida: A city that worths the stop.

Pictures

Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures from my trip to Mexico. Read the blog post: "Got Robbed All my Pictures, Twice!", to know more about it.
