“If you cannot be a poet, be the poem.” -David Carradine
June 7, 2016 | by

Version française
We can’t commit to always give others what they want, but we can give what we can.
We can’t commit to always say what others want to hear, but we can be honest.
We can’t commit to always be loved by others, but we can love oneself.
We can’t commit to save everyone, but we can be there for them.
We can’t commit to never have any fears, but we can face them.
We can’t commit to know everything, but we can be open to learn.
We can’t commit to never suffer, but we can forgive and heal.
We can’t commit to never make any mistakes, but we can learn from them.
We can’t commit to always help others, but we can admire them progress.
We can’t commit to always be there when others are having a hard time, but we can see them blossom when those times are overcome.
We can’t commit to understand everything, but we can listen.
We can’t commit to love because love is not a commitment, but a divine state.
We simply can’t
commit because we are free beings of love, but we can shine this love and freedom.
