“Leave the world in better conditions in which you found it.”
-Baden Powell

Version française
My eyes see so much poverty
Which makes them cry constantly
My heart feels so much pain
And suffering from all over the world
My emotions trapped in fear
That my anger makes me a killer
My being knows a coldness
Towards meat eater and polluters
My body cannot move forward,
As if he would be frozen in ice
My hands no longer want to work
For this society that only exploits
My brothers went to war
Many have died, the others are dying
My sisters are fighting hard
Since generations for equality
I am in a sad reality
That makes me wonder
If there is hope that we can change
Or it’s me who is dreaming
Of a dream where humans are engaged
Not to destroy, but to create
A world where any difficulty
Would be contemplated and resolved
Humanity would be well balanced
Between gratitude and humility
And where we could help each other
To become better every day
But until then ... I will continue to dream
And create the possibilities
For this dream to become a reality ...
