Travel Info

When to go

The best time to visit is from October to April. Outside of that, the heat can be unbearable for some. Avoid December and January if you don't like to swim in a crowd of tourists.

Cost

I travelled for about 35-40$/day  (2018). This includes 4 days diving. See my complete travel cost breakdown. For today's prediction visit this website.

How long do I need

There's a lot to see in Egypt! I would recommend at least 2 weeks if you don't want to rush too much.

Personal Highlights

  • The Pyramids: The what? Oh come on!
  • Abu Simbel: Takes a while to get there, but totally worth it.
  • Cairo Egyptian Museum: They have an impressive collection.
  • The Red Sea: A dream place for any divers.
  • Luxor: There is so much to see there, many impressive temples, Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Queens, and so much more.
  • Tomb of Nefertari: It deserves its own point, hand down the most well-conserved tomb in Egypt.
