The best time to visit is in the winter (December to April). Outside of that, it is the rainy season.

It always depends on your travel speed, but for most, I would say about 2 weeks.

  • Monteverde: Explore a true rain forest.
  • Beautiful national parks: Visit Parque Nacional Tortuguero, Parque Nacional Chirripó.
  • Plenty of perfect sandy beaches
